Book 1 in the Silver Wolf Clan saga

What happens when monsters turn out to be real? One summer night while camping in the woods, Morgan Carter finds out in a big way. A tall mysterious stranger, Greyson Crawford, risks his life to try and save her sister from the vicious wolf attacking their camp. When he’s bitten and disappears into the night, Morgan can only assume the worst.

Greyson shows up a year later, and he’s a different animal altogether. His eye color shifts constantly and the rumble in his throat sounds more animal than human. She hasn’t any idea where he’s been all this time, but a good guess as to what he’s become.
Grey is determined not to let the darkness of his new existence affect Morgan and the little girl in her care. He hasn’t been able to stop thinking about Morgan but knows he should stay away and let her live a normal life. That’s easier said than done, though. A new danger pulls him from the shadows to keep her safe, and he’s no wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Can she accept what lurks just below his surface? More importantly, can she survive him?

 And now for a wonderful…

Greyson’s muscles quivered under Morgan’s hand but it likely had nothing to do with the cool rain. He opened his eyes slowly and the brilliance of the golden color pooled there was almost too dazzling to look directly at. Like staring at the sun. No one would mistake those for human eyes.

If she’d had any doubt before about the brand of monster he’d become, those liquid amber eyes put them to rest. He pulled his hood back and the chin-length dark blond hair from her memory fell forward into his face. She moved a strand to the side. He’d lost weight in the past year. He hadn’t had an ounce to lose in the first place, but it looked as if he’d struggled to stay healthy. His eyebrows, just a shade darker than his hair, were furrowed but he let her drink him in. He was playing fair. For all she knew, he’d been watching her the entire year. It was her turn now.

His nose was straight and his jaw line masculine. From the brief moments she’d known him out in those woods, she’d seen how intoxicating he was. He’d been a fearless warrior bent on that murdering wolf’s destruction, no matter the cost. Here, in the dirty alley under the relentless clouds, with those glorious feral eyes and a snarl in his chest, Greyson Crawford was utterly consuming.

Softly, she said, “You’re beautiful.”

His shaky whisper tore at her. “I’m a monster.”

Featured Author Thursday: TF Walsh

Hi TF! Great to have you here today! What can you tell our readers about yourself and your paranormal romance?

I grew up listening to bedtime Romanian stories that could only be compared to the TF Walsh PicBrothers Grimm tales, and ever since then folklore and mythology has fascinated me. These influences have trickled into my stories, and in particular Cloaked in Fur, which is based in Transylvania—a place seeping with legends. Now, when it comes to love, I’m a sucker for stories about two people from different worlds falling madly in love and fighting against the odds to stay together. This is the story I wanted to tell in Cloaked in Fur, showing how far someone was willing to go to hold onto true love.

And no one ever said the fight for love was going to be easy.

Today I’m sharing a teaser from Cloaked in Fur:

My emotions tore between apologizing and confessing everything, yet all I managed to

do was stare at his bare torso.

“Your institute has been issued passes to travel into the woods, and Vasile has yours. I

can give you a lift there.” Connell cleared his throat and took my cup to the sink.

“You’re awfully quiet.”

Heat exploded across my skin, and I climbed to my feet. “My mind is a swirl of

thoughts, but I can’t pin any of it down. I’m devastated that my neighbor is dead, the

police suspect me, and even worse, I feel you slipping away from me. So, what am I

supposed to say?”

Instead of collecting me into his embrace and kissing me, Connell stood there like one

of those God statues in museums that wore almost nothing, but were sculptured to

perfection. I wanted to forget everything the day was about to bring and beg Connell to

make love to me until I passed out.

What would you do for love?

Blood Eternal: Excerpt

Hi All!

Book one in the Blessed Series is now out on Kensington’s site as well as Amazon.  I’m including an excerpt from a scene right before it gets steamy between Luke and Savannah. Enjoy!

As Savannah neared Luke’s room, she slowed. His door was open. Curious, as he never left it open. She paused at the entrance. The bedroom was as spacious as she’d expected. A cozy sitting area opened up into a larger space where a four post bed stood against thebloodeternal middle of one wall.

Beyond the bed, the gray light of night’s transition traced Luke’s silhouette against an enormous window. Shirtless, he leaned on the glass. Low-slung pants hugged the base of his back and hips. Slender rays of moonlight dusted his shoulders, emphasizing their broadness and the definition of the muscles in his arms and back.

She placed a hand on her stomach to calm the flurry of nerves whirling within her. This t so attracted to him.

“Only a couple hours until I must close the blinds,” he said. “This is the closest I get to sunrise, as the sun is strongest for us then.”

“Your door was open.” She winced at her statement of the obvious. She’d never entered his room before. Why had he allowed her to tonight?

“Trouble going back sleep?” he asked

“Yes.” She twisted her hands together and stepped forward.

“And yet you entered a monster’s lair.”

After the way she’d behaved yesterday, she deserved his bitter words. “I planned to sit in the roof garden.”

He hung his head. “Enjoy yourself. Forgive my barbs, I grow tired.”

“I didn’t think vampires got tired.”

“Not much physically, however, that does not exempt us from life’s taxations.” He lifted his head but his face remained in the shadows. “What is it you want, Savannah? I cannot read your jumbled emotions and quite frankly, I have no inclination to probe further.”

“I know,” she said, thinking about her next words. Maybe now wasn’t a good time to talk to him and he was too fed up to hear her out.

“If you have come to fault me for your arousal—”

“No.” Her cheeks heated at his words. “Not exactly.” She breathed in deep. “I came to apologize for being so difficult.”

“What brought this about?” He moved toward her. “Have you changed your mind about becoming a vampire?”

She bit her lip and shook her head. “No, but I do realize you have no control over what you’ve become. After all I’ve been through, I should have been more understanding.”

He stopped, facing her. His gaze searched her face. “And now?” His voice was no more than a whisper.

“I don’t care anymore.” Savannah trembled, resisting the urge to cover her chest by crossing her arms. “I want to be with you, for as long as you’ll have me.”
